Once again I'm trying really hard to stay away from sugar and all things good & sweet! I need to stay on the other side of the line from full blown diabetes - and with that I must give up all that I love about life - the cake! Its really hard - I can never have my cake and eat it too! I can only have my cake. I guess I'll get the rush of the yummy treat through osmosis! Its all worth it. I'd rather go without cake than have to give myself shots and risk loosing a limb.
I have done my civic duty & joined the America Diabetes Association. I plan to contribute some time and money to the cause because I feel strongly that further research can be conducted to help those out who have this condition.
I dont need A.A. I need C.A. !!! Cakes, candies and Cookies anonymous! Sign me up! ha ha!

These are amazing Wind N' Go flashlights. My parents gave them to family for Christmas gifts a few years ago. I keep one in my car and a couple in my home. I had to use them recently because of a power outage and I cannot tell you how nice it was to turn on the flashlight and have it ready to go.
