Randoms for Friday
Happy Friday!
I have so much going on today that I thought it appropriate to ramble on about things for few minutes.
Happy Spring Equinox 2009! Today is the first day of spring! I LOVE LOVE LOVE spring. Its so refreshing. I was telling my sister-in-law yesterday, who lives in Utah with the rest of my family, that I have to remind myself not to complain when Los Angeles gets a few weeks of colder weather. Three weeks of 50s and 60s is nothing compared to MONTHS of snow, rain, sleet and hail! I don't miss actual white winters at all, but I do need to remember them so I can better appreciate my awesome living conditions here. Yay Spring!
Today marks the 1 Year anniversary for M and I on our vegetarian lifestyle. I really cannot believe it has already been a year. I feel as though I have grown spiritually this year on my quest to be more considerate of other living things and not eat meat or fish. I see things from a different perspective than I did a year ago. I like the changes because they have all been positive. I'm vegetarian for life!
My BFF is coming into town this weekend for a visit, I'm very excited to fetch her from the airport today!
M is displaying his personal art tonight at an art show hosted by his (and his two friends/business partners') company, Roger. For links to the KUBE site (M's personal art) or Roger see my favorites list to the right of the blog page. Tonight is going to be a fabulous and fun as we "Soft Rock our Socks off". I'm so excited for everyone to see what he's been working on; M is such a great artist and inspires me to constantly see the world through alternative perspectives. I love his aesthetic and his talent... and him. I'll post info about the party after. It is going to be fab! Also, be sure to check out the KUBE website this weekend or early next week as he does still have t-shirts for sale and I believe that soon he will be selling prints of his work for your personal art collections. Trust me, you are going to want these in your home!
I think that is all I have to ramble about today.

I'm glad you are having a great Friday! How fun to pick up a bff from the airport. Hey, I tried to see M's art and I couldn't open it from my computer. Can you E-mail me a link maybe so I can see it? I hope the art show was a great success and that you both had fun during and after at the dance!
