Why am I on my way to Kauai this week instead of going to Fashion Week in NYC? I'm not really sure. Both will be fun and exciting, but for different reasons. Mercedes Benz Fashion Week for Spring 2010 begins September 10 in New York City. (For a full schedule click on the last sentence.)
I have been getting excited for fall fashions - I still am, but no reason not to peek into spring to see what we've got coming for 2010! Some of the shows that I am interested in are: PORTS 1961, CHARLOTTE RONSON, CHRISTIAN SIRIANO, HERVÉ LÉGER by MAX AZRIA , DIANE VON FURSTENBERG , MICHAEL KORS, NANETTE LEPORE, and others. Spring 2009 brought lots of great colors that we had not seen for a long time, sunshine yellows and royal purple hues. I predict more color for spring 2010 (isn't spring the best time for color?) There will probably be some floral prints and some new fun surprises. I loved the long peasant dresses from last spring - I'd like that to cross over to next year in some way. Hey girl! Long time eh??? It sounds like you are really livin the life! I can't believe how old we are all getting....sometimes I feel like I am 16 years old again--and then I quickly remember that I am almost 30 and have 2 kids. HA! CRAZY! Good to catch up with you.
