Chile Verde is most definitely one of the dishes I've truly missed since going full-herbivore. Upon the discovery of jackfruit and its amazing pork-like texture, we HAD to try this in our own vegetarian friendly Chile Verde recipe.
Dinner report: A++!! We win!! Best chile verde that has ever crossed my lips. Sorry, Red Iguana in SLC. I was hoping it would be as good as yours, and it turned out WAY better. Vegetarian wins again. The fresh flavors of the peppers blended so well with the herbs and spices. I just can't say too much about this jackfruit, either. The texture is so wonderful. Hallelujah, Jackfruit!!!!

What spices did you use? I'm just making a jackfruit chile verde and used can os enchilada sauce and some bottled salsa verde.
I found another jackfruit chili verde recipe where the author recommended not to use a blender since that would affect the taste and texture of the sauce. They also simmered the sauce for a few hours as it tradition. What do you think?

So where's the recipe? What's the point of sharing photos and steps but not posting the ingredients or measurements?
