OoohLaLa! Few things make me think I have finally made it to heaven quicker than the delicate and ever-colorful French Macaroon. Not to be confused with other macaroons, the French Macaroon is characterized by its round dome-like shape on top and bottom with a matching smooth filling sandwiched in the middle. Making the French Mac, as with most things French, requires skill, practice and a great amount of discipline. The process is very dependent on exactitude and technique.

M (my guy, I still haven't gotten used to saying fiance, but I need to fast because he'll only be that for a limited time, like a Holiday Barbie, then he'll have to take the awesome title of husband) knows that few things make me swoon quicker than cute things wrapped in cute boxes with ribbon. I got these one fine afternoon....

These are amazing Wind N' Go flashlights. My parents gave them to family for Christmas gifts a few years ago. I keep one in my car and a couple in my home. I had to use them recently because of a power outage and I cannot tell you how nice it was to turn on the flashlight and have it ready to go. There was no fumbling through a drawer to find batteries that worked. So easy, so inexpensive. Why not be prepared?
