Ah! Flight Time

Happy New Year 2006! I guess the obvious thing to ask ourselves would be what should I resolve to do in 2006? However, I think that's too cliche. Although the New Year brings a "newness" and its a good time to re-think your life...I choose to do this for myself at my birthday time. Since my birthday is in December, I tend to get a jump start on everyone else. (Or that's the intention!) Good luck with yours!

Christmas was great! Mark and I both flew home to Utah to see our families. It was actually the first time that he and I have flown together. We often are in the same place, but we've managed to date this long before flying together on the same plane at the same time. It was a good experience! Lucky for Mark the flight from Los Angeles to Salt Lake City is only about an hour and a 1/2. Any longer than that and I start to loose control! I think its an amateur mixture of A.D.D. and A.D.H.D but I really start to loose it in a plane after too long! I feel like a little kid because my carry on has to be full of activities and things to hold my attention. I really need a flying companion to play those "magnetic travel games" with. Hey! I just got an idea! But the ipod and magazines and books help a lot. I think if I ever fly too far again (more than 2 hours) I will definitely take a sedative. That way I can just sit back and sleep - other wise the cool people next to me are in trouble! I could bounce off the walls of those planes. The longer I'm in the air the smaller the plane seems! Its wretched! I think I did ok on this past trip - so hopefully Mark and I will look forward to many more opportunities to fly together!

My first time flying with Brian was on our 6 - month anniversary and our plane was delayed 14 hours because the engine fell out! To top it off, he's petrified of flying. Yeah, that was a test on the ol' relationship. Oh yeah! It was also valentine's weekend! lol.
