Can I help you?

Can I help you? Simple words to many ... But do they stop to think of what they are saying? I think not. When you offer your assistance to someone either by pointing them in the right direction, taking their order, or bringing them their request you are offering to HELP! Key word there being HELP. If you can't follow through with your original thought of helping - Just go away and don't offer, please. I totally understand the anguish all 4 Beatles must have felt when they sang their wonderful song, "Help".

When you can't omit the onion from my hamburger as I requested, just don't bother giving me my hamburger. I no longer want it. I'll end up cursing about you and your co-workers longer than necessary. When I order a salad and I get home to eat the lovely creation and realize that you've forgotten to give me the dressing that makes the salad what it was supposed to be --- I get very mad! I want to go back to your stupid place of work and throw the nasty lettuce at you! If more people had the energy to go back and let you know of your mistakes - you might not get away with it so much. Its the drive through and take-out workers that get away with this! If I made bad boo-boos like that at my job I swear they would've fired me by now! If I really can have it my way then, Damn -It! give it to me my way! If I don't want meat on my hamburger, I have that right! If I don't want cheese on my pizza, then please don't put cheese on my pizza. That is all for today. Happy Dining Everyone!
