My mom's birthday is on September 29th. She made cookies and was taking names for a singles church dance that same night. My dad, being his coy self, was flirting with her at the dance. She finally agreed to a dance (Bad Bad Leroy Brown by Jim Croce was the song) with him. They dated for only a short time until he asked her in his own unique way to marry him. They met at the end of September and were married on December 19th 1978.
Congratulations to mom and dad who are celebrating their 30th year of marriage! You have been a great example to me.

I think I should have required everyone to dance at least 3 songs.... But hopefully everyone had a good time. Thanx to: my "seeeester" Nikki- You are fantastic and there is so much I couldn't do without you (throwing this party was definately one of those thing!) Thanks to my sister-in-law, Dorie, my brother Dan. My adorable nieces and nephews who helped me so graciously: Nikiya, Shalee, Kalena, Kody, August, Dani, Annalynn and Baby T. I love you all so much more than words can say. You all teach me so much. Not to get all sappy on you, I just truly love my family. Thanx again for your help. Let me also not forget to thank my boyfriend Mark, My BFF Andrea and her hubby Jesse! It was such a fun night - it appeared that mom and dad had a great time. They even danced a few dances!!!!!
