Pin-up Swimwear

I was asked once by a close friend of mine why I don't blog more about fashion and style. Well, I still do not have a good response to that. All those who know me know that j'adore Dior and all things fashion related. I thought I would share some cute spring/summer swimsuits with you; fashion is always another reason to look forward to more spring ... then summer!

Did you know Pin-up girl style suits are in???? They are so cute! Here are a few cute pics from the spring runways:

Michael Kors Yellow polka-dot one piece. Q says: Yellow is such a fabulous color! I have to try not to wear it every day. Its so delightful and refreshing! I love that this would probably look good on anyone. It is such a cute and casual style for any swimsuit occasion.

This is Victoria's Secret Beach sexy line: Polka-dot bandeau top and fold over low-rise bottom. Q says: This comes in other great colors for spring and summer. I would go with the yellow, the turquoise or the coral. Its cute, its definitely a throwback to the vintage pin-up style with a modern low rise flare.

This is a Lux Polka-dot one piece. (available at Urban Outfitters). Q says: I just realized that I posted a lot of polka-dot styles. They are just too irresistible to me. This one piece would flatter anyone. I like the lower cut around the legs... very vintage style. Still looks cute on those of us who weren't blessed with legs 4 miles long.

Elizabeth O'brien Berg Ruffled One-piece. Q says: I don't need to muss this one up with too many words. It speaks for itself. Cute cute cute!

Michael Kors Striped bikini. Q says: Fantastic and unique pattern. I love the high-waisted bottoms, very "pin-up girl" Very fun and very sexy.

Elizabeth O'Brien Berg High-waisted yellow bikini. Q says: I had a suit similar to this when I was about 17. Once again, its yellow, which makes it fabulous for those with my skin coloring. Also, its playful and still keeps the important parts covered if you are attempting a more modest bikini look.

Buri checkered bikini. Q says: At the risk of looking a little "Elly May Clampett" I think this look is really sophisticated and sexy. You could splash this with a little color or go black and white all the way. Its screaming Vargus pin-up to me and that is partly why I adore it.
