Always behind
It seems that when I was younger I used to watch at the adults who were always running behind, and forgetting important things, and etc. I would watch them and think to myself -- GEEZ! Get it together! What is your problem? I will never be like that when I'm an adult. So, here I am, all grow'd up! (ha ha) I find myself forgetting things and running behind. Its holiday time and please forgive my tardiness! I have no excuses for once...Just please deal with me!
I got back from visiting Utah and family for Thanksgiving. It was a lovely trip. Nice and cold in Northern Utah in the winter, just like I remember. I got out just on time too because it snowed after my plane took off! I got to see my only living grandmother for all of 10 minutes. No worries! I was never her favorite. Just glad to know that some things never change. My family is all so fabulous and I enjoy seeing them.
Now onto the pie!!! I absolutely adore Pumpkin pie! I was on a rampage this year, making pies and eating pies. I really enjoyed myself! I not only ate Pumpkin, but cherry, apple, and pecan too! I tasted Mincemeat for the first time...not bad. Its the name, MINCEMEAT PIE, that tends to throw off the flavor of what is actually a pretty tasty treat! We should start a campaign to change the name to something that is a little more politically correct! Any suggestions?
