TomKat Dreams
It is a sure sign of too much Hollywood gossip when you start dreaming of these people and their confusing lives. I normally wouldn't admit this, but it is a very funny dream I had.
So the dream starts out with Mark and I getting ready to go somewhere. Then the black rotary-style phone rings. Mark excitedly yells, "Quel! Hurry! You have to go they are on their way to pick you up!" So, a few minutes pass, I kiss Mark goodbye and I run out the door with an overnight bag full of my essentials. I run out to the car and Inside is Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. In my dream, I don't seem surprised at all. Apparently, it is totally normal for me to run out and hop in a Limosine with the TomKat. ?!?
So, I'm quickly informed that Tom and Katie are headed to Katie's parents' home in Ohio for a visit. I will be accompanying them to Ohio. How exciting! Ohio! Now I know this is all just a crazy dream probably induced by to much Hollywood gossip column reading - but I'm dreaming away still. I'm obviously not excited to be going to Ohio, but deep down I'm hoping, maybe I'll get to see Baby Suri! One can have that dream, right?
So Time passes and suddenly we are in Ohio. This next part isn't a slam to Ohio or its residents. (Ohioians? Ohionites?) So we get out of the car, and trying to stay away from the paparazzi and crazy people - we start running thought the alleys of Ohio. The alleys seem to be the backs of many farms. (which is really funny!) So, Tom, Katie and myself are all running through herds of cattle, through mud, in and out of barns. Soon we'll be to Holmes' Home and we'll be safe. I'm tired of running, but I have to keep up. Over the chickens, through the horse pen, through the field of ready-to-harvest corn. Now, realistically speaking, in my head the entire time I'm thinking, "Where is baby Suri?" But for some reason I can't bring myself to actually ask TomKat where the kitten is. I keep telling myself if I play the game right, that'll be my prize at the end. I don't want to upset Katie, or make Tom mad so I don't verbalize my burning question. Inevitably, we keep running through the rugged Ohio farmland, never to reach our destination. I wake up.
This dream is not just funny. It makes me wonder why I"m dreaming such things. I"m sure a good psychologist could help me work this out. But I don't have time for that. I figured it was part- me running from something in my life and part- over stimulation from reading too many magazine and gossip columns online. I hope this can all be put to rest soon!

I wonder if it's your inner struggle between country girl and new hollywood woman. Running through rural landscape with people that you normally wouldn't correspond with... hhhmmmm....
